E chuchubi tabatin su nèshi den barak di garoshi. Un dia tur dos mayor a bula
bai – Nan kier a bai buska kuminda pa nan yunan – i a laga e chikitinnan
kompletamente so atras.
Despues di un ratu, Papai chuchubi a yega kas bèk.
“Kiko a pasa akinan?” e di. “Ken a hasi bosnan algu muchanan? Bosnan
ta tur brua!”
“Ai, Papai,” nan a bisa, “un mònster grandi a pasa akinan. E tabata mustra
rabiá i mahos. El a wak ku su wowonan grandi den nos nèshi. Ta esei a duna
nos asina tantu miedu.”
“Ahan”, e tata di. “Unda e ta?”
“Wèl,” nan a bisa, “el a bai einan.”
“Wak bosnan ta mira!” e tata di. “Mi ta bai su tras. Keda ketu muchanan!
Mi ta hañ’é.”
E ta bula bai su tras.
Ora e bira bògt, tin un leon ta kana den kaminda.
Pero e chuchubi no tin miedu. E ta baha para riba e leon su lomba i kuminsá
zundr’é.
“Kiko bo ta bai buska na mi kas, spanta mi yunan?”
E chuchubi ta rabia mas ainda. “Bo no tin nada di buska einan, mi ta bisa
bo! I si bo bolbe un bia mas”, e ta bisa, “lo bo mira! Mi lo no ke hasié”,
e ta bisa, hisando un di su pianan, “pero mi ta trapa bo lomba kibra!”
Despues di esaki, el a bula bai su nèshi bèk.
“Wèl, muchanan,” e ta bisa, “m’a siñ’é un lès. E no ta bolbe nunka mas.”

(Mimus gilvus), an Antillian bird with a reputation for being feisty and audacious
