Sisk

Āšiyāna-i sisk dar ālūnak-i ārāba būd. Zamānī ka wāladīn-i ān sisk parwāz karda warafta būdand. Ānhā mīħwastand dāna wa xūrāk barāy-i bačihāy-i tūy-i āšiyāna paydā kunand, wa ānhā parandiħāy-i kūčak-i xūdrā kāmalan tanħā kuđaštand.

Ba‘ad āz mudatī padar-i sisk baxāna bargašt.

“Īn jā ča pīšan āmad,” ū pursīd, “Kī šumā rā aḍyīt kard šumā waħšat zada hastīd!”

“Uwh bābā,” ānhā jawāb dādand, “bītāzigī yak lūlūy-i buzurg āmad. Ū xaylī xašan wa waħšatnāk būd. Ū bāčišmahāy-i buzurgiš xīra ba āšiyāna māng’a kart. Ū mārā xaylī tarsund.”

“Uwh!” ū guft, “Ū kučā raft?”

Ānhā kuftand, “Ū ba’ān ţaraf raft.”

“Şabr kun!” sisk guft, “Man danbāl ū xwāham raft. Nagarān mabšīd bačihāy kūčakam. Man ū rā xwāham girift.”

Ba‘ad āz ū parwāz kart wa danbāl-i lūlū raft.

Waqtī ka āz xam-i jada guđašt yak šīr-i buzurg dāšt dar ānjā rāh mīrant. Walī ān paranda natarsīd. Parīd ba pušt-i šīr wa šīr rā bā ħašūnt da‘awā kard. “Tū čirā āmadī ba āšiyāna man wa bača hāy-i man rānaz sāndī?”

Šīr hīč tawaja bād nakard wa barāh raftan-i xwādāma dād.

Rūy īn aşl parnada kūčak xaylī saxt naz ān šīr rā muwrid parxaš qarār dād. “Tū hīč haqī nadī ka ānčā bašī. – Īn rā azman bišnū – Agar bargardī īnjā ān waqt tū xwāhī dīd ka ča balātī bisarat xāhad āmad – man wāq‘an nimī xwāham ān kār rā bikunam,” ū guft wa ba‘ad yakī pāhāyaš rā buland kard, “amā man bā pāhāy-i xūdam puštat rā pāyānī mīškanam.”

Ba‘ad āz ān parwāz karda ba ba’āšiyana bargašt.

“Xub, bačihāy-i man,” ū guft, “Man ba’ān ţaraf yak dars-i xūb dādam. Ū hargiz bāyinjā barnaxwāhad gašt.”
