moat is that wide,
and no wall is that high.
If two are in love
they will meet by and by. |
No
weather’s that awful. That dark is no night.
If two want to meet,
they can go without light, |
For
there are still moonlight
and stars up above.
They light up the way,
just as long as there’s love. |

always a ladder,
a stile and a way.
