De nuverste dingen brengt bliedschap töt in ieuwigheid;
Hèur zuverste angezicht stijgt en zal nooit
verleuren gaon in ’t niks; zij zal bewaren
’t scheemsel, waor wij kunt slaopen
in een maantel van zute dromen,
betern en rustig aodemhalen.
