A word I love: stink eye

What’s with the stink eye, honey? Did I forget your birthday? Our anniversary?

In Haiwaiian Creole English (often referred to as “Hawaiian Pidgin” or “Dakine”), you give someone the “stink eye” when you give them what in other English varieties is called a “dirty look” or an “evil look.”
