A word I love: nocanic

In Haiwaiian Creole English (often referred to as “Hawaiian Pidgin” or “Dakine”), a “nocanic” (which is a play on “mechanic” with which it rhymes) is a person that always says “no can,” someone that gives up easily, someone without any confidence in their own abilities. (I love the word, not what it stands for.)
