And welcome to Schwerin!

My hometown Schwerin is situated in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It is the state capital.

Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania lies on the Baltic Sea coast where you can still find the loveliest amber.

My civilian name is Hannelore Hinz.

“Treckfiedel-Hanne” means “Squeezebox Hanne” or “Accordion Hanne.”

My squeezebox and I get around quite a bit, mostly in and around Schwerin, occasionally elsewhere in Northern Germany.

And here I’m taking on the role of “Web Hanne.”

I’ll get you acquainted with my area and with me as well, and you’ll get to see, read and hear quite a few things. I hope you’ll find it fun and sometimes also thought-provoking.
